Dear America,

There's not much I can say about the Mike Brown case that hasn't already been said. The whole thing has seemed sketchy from the beginning. Last nights media coverage of the decision in Ferguson seemed staged. It reminded me of a scene from "Wag the Dog" with Robert De niro. In which, he plays a government fixer and creates a fictional war to cover up a presidential scandal. I'm not saying that's what happened here but something felt off. Regardless, race in America is a very serious and sensitive issue. We're a country that was founded on the practice of slavery and we still bare the scares today. Something so despicable does not cleanse it self in just a few generations. America practiced slavery longer then it hasn't practiced slavery but the powers that be want you to forget about it and act like it was no big deal. Jim Crow laws were in place till the 60's, that's not that long ago. Personally, I don't see an end to our problems because the basis of what this country was founded on is tainted. It's hard to build on a foundation with so many cracks in it. Pray for us.
