Stop what you're doing cause I'm about to Ruin!
Let me just say this, the first time I met Shelly “Ruin” Johnson, he was wearing DCs with no socks, windbreaker pants pulled up like LL Cool J, while doing fakie heelflips off a drop in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Ruin is a visual artist, skateboarder, DJ and all around positive dude. He’s toured with entertainment groups, had photographs in major skateboard magazines, been in movies and made a name for himself in the Chicago art scene while doing all of the above. Ruin understood and could relate to my diverse background & influences. The Dread was the name we chose to represent that aesthetic.
